Table



The Table scope function allows you to easily create tables with rows and columns.
Inside of the table scope, you will simply add one line of text to create a row. Each column is created by separating your text with pipe characters (||). Cells can also be merged across columns and rows. See the examples below...


Table (boolean {hasBorder}, boolean {isFirstRowHeader})


  • Name: hasBorder {Optional}
    • Type: boolean
    • Default: true
    • Description: Whether the table will have a visible border.
  • Name: isFirstRowHeader {Optional}
    • Type: boolean
    • Default: true
    • Description: Whether or not the first row is the header. If true, the first row will be bold.

A cell containing only a less-than sign (<) is merged into the cell to its left, so that cell spans multiple columns. A cell containing only a caret (^) is merged into the cell above it, so that cell spans multiple rows. The two can be combined to merge a block of cells.
  • Merged cells must form a rectangle.
  • Cells in the body can not be merged into the header row.
  • To display a lone < or ^ in a cell, wrap it in literal markup (see Literals).

In this example the first "Yes" spans all three plan columns, "No" spans two rows and the second "Yes" spans two columns and two rows.
